I'm convinced Bitcoin has changed the course of history.
And yet, how many times have you seen debates on Twitter or at family dinners between people who've genuinely studied Bitcoin for years and others who are absolutely convinced they've figured it all out... based on a headline they read once? It happens constantly. The more people truly understand Bitcoin, the stronger the whole ecosystem becomes. With this project, I hope to contribute (in my own small way) to its adoption by helping people actually know what they're talking about.
I've been a Bitcoiner since 2021. Thousands of hours spent reading books, devouring articles, watching videos, running nodes, experimenting with wallets... you know the drill. At some point, I wanted a fun way to keep learning while measuring myself against the impressive knowledge of true experts in the field. That's how Bitcoin Score was born: a playful way to test your knowledge, learn more and back up your opinions with an actual score. Think of it as a gentle reality check for those who might want to study the subject a bit more before sharing their hot takes.
The game is simple and there's no pressure. You don't need to answer every question or aim for a perfect score. Whether you tackle a dozen questions during your morning coffee or dive into hundreds over the weeks, the point is to have fun while testing what you actually know. Each question has an ELO rating (like in chess), and your score evolves as you play to reflect your real level of understanding. Getting questions wrong is part of the process. What matters is learning something new along the way.
So whether you're a curious newcomer, a seasoned hodler looking for a challenge, or an expert ready to prove it: welcome! Start with a few questions, come back whenever you like, and see where you stand.
